16th-17th century church. Ancient Augustin convent. Juan Téllez Girón was also the founder of Osuna’s Augustinian convent. It has one of the most interesting types of architecture because, in Osuna, it is the only clear example of a Jesuit church. It’s design is influenced by the School that Vignola would start in Rome with the construction of the Church of the Gesú. The construction of the church started at the end of the 16th century, and its works went on until the following century. This church is home to one of the best collections of imagery in Osuna.
