Espíritu Santo convent church

Ancient convent of Espiritu Santo’s canons. The Hermanas de la Cruz worship in this church, reconstructed in the 18th century. References are made to the establishment of the Espíritu Santo church a few years after the mid 16th century. Inhabited by the congregation of canons, they were responsible for the Casa de Expósitos’ maintenance until their expulsion in the 19th century. Since 1939, the Hermanas de la Cruz have worshiped there.
